A violent altercation over seating at a Catholic school kindergarten graduation in Ohio sent one woman to the hospital with injuries requiring stitches and landed another behind bars on felony charges, transforming what should have been a celebration into chaos as kindergartners rehearsed nearby.
Fight Erupts Over Reserved Seats
Jessica Anderson, 28, faces felonious assault charges after allegedly cursing at other parents who attempted to sit in seats she had reserved at the Thursday ceremony. Craig Mays, a kindergarten teacher at another school and parent of a graduating student, tried to calm the situation but was suddenly attacked. Five men from Anderson’s family rushed from their seats and assaulted him while he was on the ground, according to witness accounts and video footage obtained by local media.
Mays described the sudden escalation to reporters, explaining he barely spoke a few words before being struck without warning. The video shows multiple individuals attacking the prone man while bystanders attempted to separate the combatants. What began as a seating dispute rapidly spiraled into a melee involving at least seven people in front of other families gathered for the kindergarten ceremony.
Woman Hospitalized With Serious Injuries
When Mays’ former partner intervened to help, Anderson allegedly grabbed her by the hair and dragged her away from the main fight. Video captured the two women locked in combat, each gripping the other’s hair while repeatedly striking each other. The footage shows Mays’ ex-partner’s face being slammed into a metal chair during the struggle. She required hospitalization and stitches for her injuries, according to an affidavit obtained by WTOL 11.
Children Shielded From Violence
The kindergarten students were rehearsing for their graduation ceremony in a separate room when the violence erupted, school officials confirmed. All children remained safe and continued their end-of-year celebrations as planned. School administrators have not announced whether they will reschedule a graduation ceremony for the affected class. Mays expressed heartbreak over the incident, particularly for the teachers and students whose hard work throughout the year was overshadowed by adult selfishness. He told reporters his greatest regret was missing his daughter’s graduation because of the violent confrontation that could have been avoided.

Your picture shows white kids. I’m betting that’s not the case.
agree with you. The usual suspects????
There are not many black Catholics (former slave owners) so the usual suspects may actually be innocent on this one. f –
just what the children need to begin living in socialist Amerika (1865-present). “shove thy neighbor” ? savages, animals
I see white, Asian, Latino and black. But it doesn’t matter. Parents need to act like adults. I feel sorry for the kids and that poor teacher that was ganged up on. What is that (woman?) doing in PJs and fuzzy slippers. Can’t she dress herself? Why didn’ this happen when I was growing up? Maybe the drug scene hadn’t happened yet. Shame on you people!
Did you bother to watch the video? There were blacks and whites involved on both sides of the fight. It wasn’t racial.
Yep
waring pajamas and fuzzy houseshoes. Dressed to define high fashion.
Yep. Usual suspects.
UGLY!
I agree. One of those woman was a real bow bow
Note the woman on PJ’S BEDROOM SLIPPERS! That explains it all
Yes! I thought the same thing the moment I saw her. Good grief, what is wrong with these people? You can take the people out of the jungle, but…………
Yup

SELFISHNESS…We live in a very ME, ME, ME world. The heck with everyone else b/c I am more important than they are, so I want things MY way… Greed is another selfish act. The more they have, the more they want causing prices to rise for everyone!!!
SHAME on those so-called adults for causing this chaos in the first place… In the end, none of it was worth it and if I were the principal, all involved unnecessarily would NOT be allowed to come to any activities/sports etc. at my school… People like that have NO respect and NO regard for others… All of that was unnecessary and could have and should have been solved peacefully….
BLESSED IS THE PEACEMAKER!!! I am a retired pre-k thru 3rd grade elementary teacher. I do hope that NONE Of those graduating children saw any of this and were kept away from all of the adult bickering. They should be sorry and apologize to everyone disrupted by their mischief…or should I say immaturity and childishness…
My husband was a teacher years ago, and got out of it due to lack of respect from both parents and students. The school didn’t believe in discipline, and each time Johnny did something wrong he had to write his name on the blackboard. Wow! In addition to that, the administration blocked him from doing anything constructive for or with the students.
They lost a wonderful, caring teacher.
I agree with you Wanda.
The ones PROVEN to be the ones who started should be dealt with swiftly and the punishment should be more than a slap on the wrist
DEFUND and close down the DEPT. of re-education and re-distribution. just like re-construction didn’t work 160 years ago
What a great example
So, five men attacked one peace-maker and continued to jointly kick him and strike him while he was on the ground trying to defend himself. This calls for significant punishment of those five terrorists. They each should be fined the maximin and jailed for one year plus one day (a felony), ordered to remain away from any child under 18 years of age, and denied entry to any school or school event for children under 18. These savages show no respect or remorse, so there should be no softening of the punishment.
socialist do NOT arrest, charge or punish the OUT of CONTROL. IT is a culture of the jungle, from another continent
I just wondering, was she SAVING SEATS so when the rest of her family arrived? if so, that would be a selfish thing to do. how about NO!!!
Everyone saying usual suspects need to really watch the video and the five men who jumped the teacher were not black I don’t think it was a race thing it was just plain ignorance by all involved
