Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover
Click Media (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates News Block at https://newsblock.org (the “Website”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Website, our email newsletters, and related services that expressly reference these Terms (collectively, the “Services”). References to Click Media identify the operator using its business name.
These Terms apply to this publication and its Services. They do not automatically govern publications operated under other business names or by separate operators. If you adapt these Terms for another publication, its applicable operator is the business named in that publication’s version of these Terms.
2. Acceptance and Eligibility
Please read these Terms before using the Services. Where we present these Terms for acceptance, agreeing to them forms the agreement governing the relevant Services. By using the Services after being given notice of these Terms and a reasonable opportunity to review them, you agree to them to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Our Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to enter into this agreement and subscribe. You must also be legally permitted to use the Services where you are located.
Acceptance of these Terms does not itself establish consent to email newsletters, additional brands’ marketing, telephone calls, or text messages. Subscription permissions are addressed in Section 4 and in the applicable signup disclosure.
3. Our Content and Services
We publish news, analysis, commentary, opinion, and other informational content. Content may be updated, corrected, or removed. We aim to provide useful information, but do not guarantee that every item is complete, current, or error-free. Opinions may reflect the views of individual contributors and may differ from those of other contributors or the publication.
Our content is for general informational purposes. It is not individualized legal, medical, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice and does not create a professional-client or fiduciary relationship. Consult an appropriately qualified professional about decisions requiring such advice.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue portions of the Services. We do not promise a particular newsletter delivery frequency, uninterrupted access, or continued availability of specific features. Changes remain subject to applicable law and any express commitments we have made for a particular service.
4. Email Newsletters and Subscriber Choices
You may subscribe directly or through a third-party publisher or acquisition partner. In a click-to-post signup, a clearly disclosed signup link may cause the partner to transmit an email address it already holds to us. In a co-registration signup, a partner may transmit your email address when you complete a registration action that identifies our newsletter and explains the subscription and transfer.
The disclosure presented at signup identifies the newsletter and any promotional communications involved. An ordinary article click, a visit to the Website, or agreement to a privacy policy alone does not automatically authorize subscriptions to every associated brand. Where additional consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant communications.
Where subscriber information is shared between brands, the applicable Privacy Policy and collection disclosures explain the practices and relevant choices. These Terms do not independently authorize undisclosed sharing or subscriptions to other publications.
You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or the contact methods in Section 17. We honor unsubscribe requests within applicable legal deadlines. Ordinary unsubscribes do not require payment, creation of an account, or additional identity documents.
We routinely clean our mailing lists and filter subscribers identified as no longer engaging out of ongoing newsletter sends. Inactivity filtering does not replace your ability to unsubscribe and does not necessarily mean all subscription records are immediately deleted. Our Privacy Policy describes retention, suppression, and related data practices.
You must provide an email address you are authorized to use and must not submit another person’s address without authorization. Delivery may be affected by your email provider, filtering, technical issues, or our list-maintenance practices.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information and your applicable rights and choices. Review it along with these Terms and the notices presented when information is collected.
Nothing in these Terms overrides your legally protected privacy rights or substitutes for consent required for a particular collection, disclosure, tracking activity, or marketing communication.
6. Your Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct
Use the Services lawfully and provide accurate information when interacting with us. Where account features are offered, protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for your own devices and internet access; this does not eliminate our responsibilities for the security of our systems.
You must not:
- violate applicable law or another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- impersonate someone or misrepresent your authority, identity, or affiliation;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others, including minors;
- submit deceptive, unlawful, or unauthorized information or subscriptions;
- use the Services to send spam or unauthorized solicitations;
- introduce malware, interfere with service operation, or overload our systems;
- gain or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, networks, servers, or restricted information;
- harvest subscriber details or other personal information;
- scrape, systematically copy, or use automated tools to extract or republish content without authorization, except as permitted by applicable law or express permission; or
- bypass access controls or use the Services in ways that materially interfere with other users’ lawful access.
7. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use
The Website and its content, design, logos, software, and other materials are owned by us or the relevant contributors, licensors, or third-party rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access content for personal, noncommercial use, allow ordinary browser caching, and print or download a reasonable number of pages for personal reference, retaining relevant copyright and attribution notices. You may share ordinary links to publicly available pages. Statutory rights, including applicable fair-use rights, are not restricted by these Terms.
Except as authorized by us, the relevant rights holder, or applicable law, you may not reproduce, sell, republish, commercially exploit, distribute, or create derivative works from protected materials. No ownership rights are transferred to you. Use of a third-party trademark or material does not imply ownership by us or a license beyond what is expressly permitted.
8. Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions
Where we accept public comments, reviews, or other public submissions, you remain responsible for your submission and must have the rights necessary to provide it. You retain ownership of your original content.
For submissions intended for public display, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, format, and reasonably edit them for operating, presenting, and promoting the relevant Services. This license does not authorize us to use your identity to imply endorsement of unrelated products or services. It does not convert private support communications or personal information into public advertising content.
Public submissions must not contain unlawful threats, defamatory statements, discriminatory harassment, unauthorized personal information, deceptive impersonation, infringing materials, spam, or malicious code. Do not submit confidential information for public display.
We may moderate, decline, edit for presentation or compliance, or remove submissions consistent with these Terms and applicable law. We are not obligated to publish every submission. User submissions do not necessarily represent our views. Suggestions and feedback may be used to improve the Services without an obligation to implement them or compensate you, subject to applicable rights.
9. Advertising, Sponsored Content, and Third-Party Services
The Services may contain advertisements, sponsored content, affiliate links, or other commercial placements. We may receive compensation in connection with some placements or referrals. Applicable disclosures identify commercial relationships where required.
Third-party links, products, services, and offers are provided by their respective operators. A link or advertisement does not by itself constitute our endorsement or guarantee. Review the relevant third party’s terms, privacy notices, and offer details before interacting or making a purchase. We do not control independently operated third-party services, but remain responsible for our own conduct and disclosures as required by law.
Any purchases, paid subscriptions, contests, promotions, or downloadable software offered through the Services may be subject to additional terms presented for the relevant offering. These Terms do not create a paid subscription, authorize a charge, establish a refund policy, or incorporate an unidentified software license. A separately presented agreement governs where it expressly applies.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access or a subscription when reasonably necessary to address violations, security risks, fraud, unlawful conduct, service changes, or list-maintenance needs. We may remove unlawful or prohibited submissions and cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
We provide notice where required by law or an applicable service commitment. Termination does not eliminate accrued rights, legally protected remedies, or responsibilities that by their nature continue, including relevant intellectual property, liability, and dispute provisions. Privacy and suppression records are handled under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Warranty Disclaimers
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery, error-free operation, universal availability, or that the Services will be free from all harmful components. You should use appropriate device and account security precautions and independently evaluate information before relying on it.
These disclaimers do not exclude warranties, obligations, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded and do not excuse fraud or other conduct for which a disclaimer is prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR PERSONNEL, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND LICENSORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not eliminate liability that cannot be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims where applicable. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections. Where a limitation is prohibited, applicable law controls. These Terms do not impose a special shortened deadline for bringing claims.
13. Responsibility for Third-Party Claims
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify us and our personnel against reasonable losses, costs, and expenses arising from a third-party claim caused by your unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, or a submission that infringes another person’s rights. This obligation does not cover claims caused by our own unlawful conduct and does not eliminate your mandatory consumer rights.
We will notify you of a claim for which we seek indemnification and provide a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. Neither party may settle such a claim in a way that imposes an admission, nonmonetary obligation, or liability on the other without that party’s consent, except as applicable law permits.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
If a dispute arises, either party may contact the other to seek a practical resolution. This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking timely relief, using a lawful complaint process, or preserving a claim before an applicable deadline.
Unless applicable mandatory law requires another forum, disputes may be brought in the state courts located in the State of Delaware or the United States District Court for the District of Delaware where it has jurisdiction. This provision does not override a consumer’s nonwaivable right to proceed in another legally available forum, including a qualifying small-claims court.
These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive participation in a class action. Any future arbitration agreement must be separately drafted, appropriately presented, and accepted where required. Nothing in these Terms limits complaints to a regulator or public authority.
15. Changes and Electronic Notices
We may revise these Terms as our Services or legal obligations change. We post the revised version with its updated date. For material changes, we provide additional notice where required or appropriate and request renewed acceptance where necessary. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise agreed in a legally valid manner; they do not retroactively eliminate accrued rights.
We may provide service-related notices through the Website or an email address you have provided for the relevant purpose, subject to applicable law. Electronic delivery of operational or legal notices is distinct from permission to send marketing messages. Keep relevant contact details current. Notices take effect as applicable law or the relevant agreement provides.
16. General Provisions
These Terms and any expressly applicable additional service terms form the agreement concerning the relevant Services. Our Privacy Policy describes data practices and does not expand newsletter consent merely by being referenced here. Nothing excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or other nonwaivable rights.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent permitted by law. Failure or delay to enforce a provision is not a waiver of later enforcement. You may not transfer your contractual rights or obligations without our consent except as permitted by law. We may transfer the agreement in connection with a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable notice requirements and your protected rights. No transfer independently authorizes new uses of personal information.
