A Pennsylvania woman was violently attacked on her own front porch when a complete stranger grabbed her from behind and attempted to force her into her apartment in broad daylight. The assault only stopped when neighbors heard her screams and rushed to intervene.
Attack Unfolds Steps From Front Door
The incident occurred in Baden, Pennsylvania, when 24-year-old Kevin Alexander Flores approached the woman as she sat outside her residence. According to police reports and court documents, Flores initiated a casual conversation with the victim, whom he had never met before. The woman told investigators she was simply trying to be neighborly when the encounter suddenly turned violent. Flores asked questions about her appearance and inquired which apartment belonged to her before testing whether the screen door was unlocked.
Without warning, Flores grabbed the woman from behind and began dragging her toward the apartment entrance. The victim fought back as he pulled her closer to the door, creating enough noise during the struggle to alert nearby residents. Neighbors responded immediately when they heard the commotion and intervened, preventing Flores from successfully forcing the woman inside her home. The victim sustained minor injuries during the physical altercation and was reported to be recovering.
Suspect Arrested At Scene
Police arrested Flores at the location following the attempted abduction. Multiple witnesses identified him as the attacker, according to Beaver County Radio. Authorities charged him with attempted kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, simple assault, and several additional offenses. The swift response from neighbors proved critical in stopping the attack before it escalated further. Law enforcement officials credited the community intervention with preventing what could have been a far more serious crime.
What This Means
This incident highlights the importance of neighborhood vigilance and community awareness. The National Crime Prevention Council emphasizes that residents should remain alert and report suspicious activity to authorities. Security experts recommend that when confronted by aggressive individuals near entry points, victims should create noise, attempt to escape, and contact police immediately. In this case, the victim’s resistance combined with rapid neighbor response prevented a potentially deadly situation from developing beyond the front porch.

Twenty years no parole sounds fair.
“Kevin Alexander Flores”…Monkey attacker…
AHHHH, thankfully she was not hurt further, she was not killed, she was not raped and that is a triple blessing indeed. She has GREAT neighbors. Many would have done nothing; some might have dialed 911 but would not personally have gotten involved. So, I do hope she realized she has absolutely been blessed… We all NEED neighbors such as hers. Remember: IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING b/c every minute could be a matter of life and death… and I would add IF YOU HEAR A COMMOTION, SCREAMING OR ANYTHING THAT MIGHT NEED ATTENTION, PLEASE CALL FOR HELP… After all we should treat others as we would want them to treat us…
Heroes! The attacker should be exterminated.
2nd Amendment should be applied !!!!!!!!
Ahould have left him for dead
He should get the same punishment as he would of gotten if he had dragged her in her house and raped her .
