A DeKalb County mother plans to relocate her family after gunfire tore through her bedroom wall while she slept, marking the second shooting incident at her townhome in recent months.

Eight Shell Casings Found at Scene

Alexander Ebiorobo thought bullets had struck her body when explosive popping noises shattered the night silence in her DeKalb County townhome. The mother of three jumped from bed as her bedroom walls absorbed multiple rounds of gunfire. She immediately checked on her 12-year-old son, asking him if she had been hit. After confirming her two younger children were unharmed, she raced downstairs to call police.

DeKalb County Police recovered eight shell casings from the scene and documented multiple bullet holes in the townhome and the family’s vehicle. Ebiorobo’s husband, Hamiel Jefferson, rushed home from his overnight shift to find the damage.
