Activist is a joke. He deserves to be laughed at. I wish he would have touched one of the agents and been arrested for battery. The haters lose everytime.
I retired from U.S. Customs in 2000. I am old enough to remember the Cuban blockade. Activists would try to enter truck loads of junk to fill Cuba bound containers in the United States. They knew that there was a intellectual property embargo on goods going to Communist Cuba. We (Customs) would do 100% inspections on the trucks and they were all loaded with junk (old bikes and stuff one would see on the roadside with FREE signs posted on them. The activist would notify the news media when they were going to try to cross the border ports. They wanted Customs to refuse the shipments but we would exam them, classify them as junk and let them pass through> That is not what they wanted. This all stopped when the highway patrol followed a caravan of trucks to a location a few miles past the border. The activists had unloaded all the junk in a field and were trying to drive their vehicles back to Canada. Did not work and they paid a lot of money in fines. Actually, the Cubans told folks to stop sending their junk to them. As they say, ” now you know the rest of the story”.
