Activist SCREAMS At ICE Agents Gets Laughed At

A viral video showing Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents laughing at an activist who confronted them at LaGuardia Airport has captured widespread attention, highlighting tensions surrounding the Trump administration’s deployment of federal agents to assist with airport operations during a government funding impasse.

Activist Confrontation Backfires

The video, which circulated widely on social media on Friday, shows ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations agents in tactical vests walking through the LaGuardia terminal when an activist approaches them. The man repeatedly shouts at the agents, calling them foot soldiers of a fascist regime while demanding they acknowledge his accusations. Instead of engaging seriously, the agents grin and eventually burst into laughter as they continue walking through the terminal.

The activist originally posted the footage to Instagram through the No Kings USA account, claiming he was speaking truth to power. He expressed frustration that the agents laughed at his confrontation, writing that he faced down a fascist whose only reaction was a smirk. The post characterized the encounter as representative of broader challenges activists face when confronting federal law enforcement personnel.

Airport Deployment Context

The confrontation occurred days after the Trump administration deployed hundreds of ICE agents to more than a dozen major airports nationwide, including LaGuardia, JFK, Newark, Atlanta, and Houston. The deployment began Monday amid a partial government shutdown that left Transportation Security Administration officers unpaid, triggering widespread staffing shortages and resignations. Hours-long security lines developed at major airports as the funding dispute between the administration and Democrats continued.

ICE agents were assigned to crowd management, logistics support, and general airport operations to maintain efficient passenger flow during the staffing crisis. The agency emphasized its personnel focused on supporting safe and efficient travel during the funding impasse. Neither ICE nor the Department of Homeland Security has released official statements specifically addressing this viral confrontation at LaGuardia.

Public Reaction Divided

The video sparked divided reactions across social media platforms, with some supporting the activist’s willingness to confront federal agents while others defended the ICE personnel for maintaining professionalism despite aggressive heckling. The incident illustrates ongoing tensions between immigration enforcement agencies and activists who oppose current federal immigration policies and enforcement practices at transportation hubs nationwide.

  1. Activist is a joke. He deserves to be laughed at. I wish he would have touched one of the agents and been arrested for battery. The haters lose everytime.

  2. I retired from U.S. Customs in 2000. I am old enough to remember the Cuban blockade. Activists would try to enter truck loads of junk to fill Cuba bound containers in the United States. They knew that there was a intellectual property embargo on goods going to Communist Cuba. We (Customs) would do 100% inspections on the trucks and they were all loaded with junk (old bikes and stuff one would see on the roadside with FREE signs posted on them. The activist would notify the news media when they were going to try to cross the border ports. They wanted Customs to refuse the shipments but we would exam them, classify them as junk and let them pass through> That is not what they wanted. This all stopped when the highway patrol followed a caravan of trucks to a location a few miles past the border. The activists had unloaded all the junk in a field and were trying to drive their vehicles back to Canada. Did not work and they paid a lot of money in fines. Actually, the Cubans told folks to stop sending their junk to them. As they say, ” now you know the rest of the story”.

  3. Correction: activist was not “shouting,” and agents didn’t “burst into laughter,” at least not on this video. Please stop exaggerating for purposes of “click bait.”
