It appears her vehicle is a Jeep. NOW, if you have ever driven a Jeep with tires that can be driven on pavement and non critical off road surfaces, one knows that the traction goes down markedly in wet conditions. A young and inexperienced driver is at a disadvantage in this scenario , especially on wet roads. I did a 220 degree spin by down gearing on a wet road with multipurpose tires. I wasn’t even speeding. A 17 yo is not going to have a chance

Maybe if the municipality spent money on roads they know are dangerous instead of handing out money to homeless that have made bad decisions then maybe this young lady would still be alive.

Yes, I think the father knowing it was a bad route, should have gotten her a safer car, and advised her on situations that might come up so she could have been better prepared. I understand what the father is going through. He has all these regrets and needs to blame something or someone for the pain he is going through. I’m so sorry for his loss. May she rest in peace. I myself would not have allowed my child to have gotten a job having to cross that road. I would have made sure she got her first job somewhere nearby in a safer distance and would have provided a safer car to drive, specially since she was still a minor.

Wayne you are a unsympathetic person and if he thought for one minute she would get in a fatal accident he would have done things a lot differently and if the state and city knowing how dangerous that road is they should have corrected it long ago and I do blame them and the father might not have known how she was coming home as there may be other routes she may have picked to go home if you lost a daughter you would do the same thing to make someone pay so to wake them up and fix it before someone else dies.

If all that was dumped into housing/food/medical/legal expences was put back into infrastructure and Americans.. looking at nearly 200bil last year alone things could be much better.
