Two Florida educators who share a child together now face criminal charges after a violent confrontation inside their school classroom left one unconscious and the other pepper-sprayed, according to police reports from the Miami incident.

Odiria Shaya Biggins and Terrod Torrence, both 36 years old, engaged in a physical altercation Friday at the SEED School of Miami. The incident began when Torrence left a note on his former partner’s desk requesting a conversation, according to police documents obtained by local news station WSVN. What started as a workplace discussion quickly escalated into violence.

Police reports state that Torrence struck Biggins multiple times in the head during the confrontation. He then pushed her against a classroom wall, where she fell and lost consciousness. The attack left the mother of his child temporarily unresponsive inside the educational facility where both were employed as teachers.
Pepper Spray Retaliation Caught on Video
After regaining consciousness, Biggins left the classroom and retrieved pepper spray from her vehicle. She returned to the scene and deployed the chemical weapon against Torrence, according to the police report. Surveillance footage captured her entering the classroom, followed by Torrence stumbling out moments later. The video showed him struggling to walk and suffering visible eye irritation from the pepper spray exposure.
