Violent protesters returned to attack vehicles and officers outside Newark’s immigration detention facility Friday evening, hours after the city’s mayor ordered police to scale back their protective presence at the embattled location.
Violence Erupts After Police Withdrawal
Anti-ICE demonstrators surrounded Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark, New Jersey, launching attacks on departing vehicles and law enforcement personnel. Video footage captured one protester shattering a car windshield as the driver attempted to exit the facility. Additional footage showed stacks of wooden planks and bricks positioned strategically near the building’s perimeter, materials commonly used in violent confrontations with authorities.
The Friday evening violence followed Mayor Ras Baraka’s decision to withdraw Newark Police Department officers from the detention center. The mayor announced police would transition to traffic management duties rather than facility protection, citing a “significant reduction in unrest.” That assessment proved premature as demonstrations escalated within hours of reduced law enforcement presence.
Border Czar Warned Against Police Pullback
Border Czar Tom Homan had cautioned city officials against scaling back security measures. Speaking on Fox News Thursday, Homan described previous incidents where ICE officers faced assaults without adequate police response. “They’re going to regret that decision,” Homan stated, referencing his meetings with state police, the mayor, and police department leadership. Law enforcement had arrested two out-of-state individuals Thursday night on multiple charges related to earlier disturbances. They should just put a few snipers on the roof and drop every individual that attacks a vehicle or ICE agent. Once an individual becomes violent – neutralize them (permanently). If this were done, this “protesting” would stop.
Why not call these protests what they are – Organized Crime. Pallets stacked with bricks? Really. These are bought and paid for criminals. This is not free speech I say bring out the water cannons and mass arrests.

Its hard to understand what is going on, ICE has a job todo like everybody else do the people attacking the other have jobs to go to i work and am a single parent raising a child and so i don’t have time to hang around a building and attack cars and if i did have the time i spent it doing something worth while like getting my things in check before judging and trying to change others especially in a negative way. Well i don’t understand and that’s all i got to say about this..
Whatever happened to the right to “self protect”. If a citizens is being attacked by someone, they have the right to protect themselves, CORRECT??? Every demonstration I have been to has always had the police outnumbered at least 5-1. Let the police defend themselves and have everything on film. Punish those who are causing the problem, not the ones who are trying to prevent them…

I believe that George Soros should be prosecuted by the federal government and every asset of his seized. Seize his assets and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. His crimes against the United States of America and Society as a whole should be punished by death row by hanging by his neck or anchored by his neck into the ocean the coldest ocean in the world.

I’ve been reading almost from the beginning of riots becoming a common thing in the USA that they know of folks being bused in, flown in, etc. for these attacks. Also way back in the Missouri days bricks and other missiles material were found neatly stacked and “ready” in the area for thugs who would sweep in. If the very first two or three had been stopped, all who had committed any destruction or laid hands on anyone were arrested, charged and prosecuted this would have ended the several years ago since the beginning. Injuries and some loss of life, plus the destruction of many small business owners, neighborhoods wrecked all to the tune of billions of dollars would never have become a part of our history. Instead, it’s all mushroomed into disease, but now including mass killings, out right theft (if you steal less than a $1000 worth we won’t prosecute you). It seems to be a time of no brains in the seats of authority – or they, themselves want the chaos.
Find out who the funders are, and convict them. Once the funding stops the protests stop.
Start arresting mayors and other officials and the financers that are obstructing federal officers enforcing the laws that have been on the books for decades and this crap will stop!

Yes, yes, let us arrest thee bottom feeders; those that did the destruction and put innocent lives at risk. However, keep in mind that there were people higher up that allowed this lawlessness to not only exist, but did not carry out their oaths of offices.
Who are these high-level felons? Let’s start with the Governor of New Jersey for allowing the Mayor of Newark to tell the State Police to stand down. Then, there is the Lieutenant Governor who did not stop the Governor. He could have had the Governor arrested for allowing innocent citizens being put in harms way. Next, the Attorney General, the top law enforcement officer in the state. Finally, the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey for calling back the police department’s officers from keeping the peace and the State Police.
These last two are not without blame. Yes, in ignoring the Mayor’s orders to stand aside and allow these felonies to proceed unhindered., they could have lost their jobs. But losing your job because you didn’t let these felons get away with destroying property and putting lives in danger; is this a bad thing? They took an oath to serve and protect and not an oath to serve and protect only when it’s something we like. The leader of the State Police on New Jersey and the Chief of Police of the Newark, New Jersey should be fired for dereliction to duty, and people with a back-bone and taking their oaths seriously put in charge and tell the state leaders and the local leader to go pound sand when an illegal order is given.

There are many more quotes like these two. As for me? in 1968, I took an oath to defend the Constitution of the United States. Everyone in the military takes this oath; yet, there are many of us who still live by this oath. By this oath, we swear to give our lives, if necessary, in defense of the constitution. So politicians say, “Oh, we took an oath to this state, or this country, or this city and apparently, these oaths were forgotten when their personal feelings became involved because the rights of illegal aliens are more important than the rights of the law-abiding citizens. Regardless, of the crimes these illegals commit while in the US. Everyone of those leaders is guilty of breaking a law. Arrest them, as well.
