Nude Marchers PARADE Past Kids at Seattle Pride Event

Videos from Seattle’s Pride parade show naked adults marching and cycling through streets crowded with families and children, sparking widespread outrage online and raising questions about public decency laws that allow such displays in Washington state.

Naked Adults March Near Children at Festival

Footage captured by activist Chloe Cole and posted by Frontlines Turning Point USA shows members of “Friends of Denny Blaine” walking completely nude through the parade route. Some spectators clapped and cheered, while cameras panned to young children watching the display. Additional video shows naked individuals prancing around the Seattle Center International Fountain, where children were playing in the water just feet away from the unclothed adults. Some parade attendees could be seen attempting to shield children’s eyes from the nude marchers.

The nude marchers carried signs reading “Nude ≠ Lewd,” “Free to be Naked,” and “Nude is Nourishing.” The Friends of Denny Blaine group maintains a website dedicated to protecting Denny Blaine Park, which they describe as having a “historic nude & queer character.” The park currently faces a lawsuit from concerned citizens over its graphic nature, according to the organization’s website.

Legal Gray Area Allows Public Nudity

Seattle’s municipal code contains no specific prohibition against public nudity, a policy the Seattle Police Department has confirmed multiple times. However, the state of Washington defines indecent exposure as intentionally making “any open and obscene exposure” while knowing the conduct will likely cause “reasonable affront or alarm.” First-time offenders who expose themselves to children under fourteen face misdemeanor charges, while convicted sex offenders committing indecent exposure face felony charges. The Seattle Police Department did not respond to requests for comment about whether any arrests occurred during the Pride festivities.

Online Backlash and Parental Criticism

The videos generated intense criticism on social media platforms. “How is this not indecent exposure?” one user questioned. Another commenter directed anger at parents, stating: “Those parents are stupid, both for bringing children to a Pride Parade, and for keeping them there when a bunch of naked pervs exposed themselves.” Pride Month, officially declared in 1999 by President Bill Clinton as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month, has expanded significantly since same-sex marriage became legal nationwide in 2015. Critics argue the celebrations have become increasingly inappropriate for public spaces, particularly when children are present.

  1. This is exactly why so many do not want to allow these events. What these types want to do in a rented private hall or something like that would not bother most of us. These immoral displays in front of children and well
adjusted people are not acceptable. How perverted are these people that think this is acceptable public conduct.
