Garbage Truck Driver SNAPS At Protesters BLOCKING ICE Facility Road

A garbage truck driver confronted masked demonstrators outside Newark’s Delaney Hall immigration facility Wednesday night after protesters physically blocked him from completing his work route, creating the latest flashpoint in ongoing clashes between anti-ICE activists and federal agents.

Worker Blocked From Doing Job

Dramatic video footage captured the frustrated driver from Regional Industries pleading with protesters to clear the roadway. “If I hit one of y’all, I go to jail. What’s wrong with y’all?” the worker shouted at demonstrators who had erected barricades using cement blocks and traffic cones. Many protesters wore masks and goggles as protection against pepper spray deployed by immigration agents. After his confrontation, the driver eventually returned to his vehicle and managed to navigate away from the blockade.

The chaotic scene escalated into violent confrontations between immigration enforcement officers and demonstrators, with agents using batons to push back crowds and clear roadways. Protesters chanted threatening slogans at federal officers while building defensive barriers. Detainees inside the facility waved from windows as the disorder unfolded outside. Activists have vowed to maintain their encampment until all detainees receive release from the 1,000-bed detention center.

Disputed Hunger Strike Claims

The protests intensified during Memorial Day weekend following reports that hundreds of immigration detainees launched a hunger and labor strike to protest facility conditions. Approximately 300 detainees reportedly refused meals starting Friday. However, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin flatly rejected these claims, stating no hunger strike exists at Delaney Hall and denying any substandard conditions. He criticized New Jersey sanctuary politicians for demanding facility access while pursuing “fundraising clicks” instead of supporting law enforcement efforts.

The Department of Homeland Security emphasized that detainees receive three daily meals, clean water, clothing, bedding, hygiene supplies, and family communication access. The agency stated detainees also receive comprehensive healthcare including medical, dental, and mental health services with 24-hour emergency care availability. DHS claimed this represents the best healthcare many illegal immigrants have ever received in their lives.

Democratic Officials Dispute Conditions

Democratic lawmakers including Representative Jerrold Nadler of New York and Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey sharply disputed the federal government’s characterization. Booker specifically highlighted concerns from female detainees about inadequate medical attention, calling the healthcare access “unsatisfactory, if not downright dangerous.” He pointed to reports of a male inmate with colon cancer allegedly not receiving proper treatment. The conflicting accounts between federal officials and Democratic critics have created a political standoff over detention facility standards and immigration enforcement practices in New Jersey.

  1. All protesters should be arrested, fined $10,000 and if found to be illegal, deported immediately. ICE is doing their job and other people are doing their jobs. Yo have no right to stop them.

  2. Set up BBQ grills, steaks, Chicken, along with hot dogs and burgers for the ICE AGENTS and inside workers.

  3. I personally feel that every protestor at ICE facilities should be arrested and sentenced for five years in prison at hard labor! I consider the Protestors as nothing more than terrorist! I place them in the same category as ANTIFA, and BLM! In addition, every GOP in the Senate and Congress need to pass the “Save America Act” immediately without hesitation. Any Senate and Congressional Members that do not support the Save America Act, should immediately be recalled and replaced with members that want America Great Again!

I am deeply sadden to see Tulsi Gabbard leave her position. She has done a remarkable job! I pray for her and her husband to get through this severe medical issue of bone cancer. God Bless Her and Her Husband!

    • So you are in favor of Fascism? And you don’t think the lives of Black people matter? Yet you are in favor of “Saving America”??

      • You are kidding, right? How can you equate making people that are violently protesting ok when they can peacefully protest but are not doing so. Violent protestors should be arrested, especially against ICE agents who are doing a necessary job. People that come in this country illegally are violating our entry laws that have been on the books for decades, this is not new. It’s just that we have a governing body that is finally trying to do something about it. BLM was a farce, have you not educated yourself on the people that were running it and where the money went. Black lives do matter, they always have. Just as Japanese, Chinese, indigenous and any other nationality or color matter.

  4. Jail the protestors for endangering government employees and a city worker. The detainees are waving from inside, which shows they are not unhappy or mistreated, they are just laughing at the lazy citizens with nothing else to do.

  5. don’t for get the J-6 jail sentences, lock em up, may be they will become humbled and smarter next time! maybe ?

  6. Since the protesters are harassing, harming, hitting, spraying FEDERAL workers, those protesters that are found, and jailed should be put in FEDERAL prisons not city, state etc. The federal court would give those that harm federal workers more jailtime than those put in city or state prisons. Protesters would probably be released immediately if put before a city, county state court!
