Television star Alan Ritchson was captured on video repeatedly striking a neighbor during a violent confrontation on a Tennessee street, sparking an ongoing police investigation into the March 2026 altercation that left one man with visible injuries.
Violent Confrontation Unfolds on Quiet Street
Neighbor Ronnie Taylor filmed the confrontation, showing the Reacher actor delivering multiple blows to Taylor’s face and head on a residential sidewalk. The fight occurred while young boys, reportedly two of Ritchson’s three sons, watched from the street on motorbikes. Taylor cowered during the assault before retrieving his glasses from the ground and continuing to argue with the actor. The incident ended when Ritchson restarted his green Kawasaki motorcycle, and Taylor walked toward his home across the street.
Dispute Started Over Loud Motorcycle
The confrontation began Sunday when Ritchson revved his motorcycle engine while driving through the quiet neighborhood. Taylor responded by flipping off the actor, who returned the gesture. When Ritchson returned Monday with his sons, Taylor allegedly told him to stop the noise. Sources close to Ritchson claim Taylor pushed the actor off his motorbike multiple times before video recording began, describing Taylor’s actions as aggressive. Taylor reported the assault to authorities and shared photos of his injuries with media outlets.
Investigation Continues, No Arrests Made
Police have not made arrests despite Taylor’s formal complaint about the alleged assault. Representatives for Ritchson, known for roles in Smallville, Titans, and Blood Drive, have not responded to requests for comment. The actor has remained silent on social media since the incident. Ritchson has been married to Catherine Ritchson since May 2006. The investigation remains active as authorities review the video evidence and statements from both parties involved in the neighborhood dispute.

Looks like Taylor started this and got what he provoked and asked for. I totally support Ritchson in this matter.
Agreed !
Make them duke it out and winner takes all!
The actor is a typical bully. He was going (at one time ) over 40 miles per hour in THIS residential zone. He was asked to stop it. The next day he came back with his sons and the home owner walked onto the the street. AGAIN , The actor was going TOO FAST and lost control of his bike and dumped it. He was pissed and started smacking the smaller man around. LOOK AT THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO. The actor tried to get his bike going but again lost control of it and it ended up on the lawn. He was totally in the wrong during this whole stupid incident. I have been a motorcycle rider for over 50 years. There is no excuse for going 40 in a residential area and revving your engine like some immature teenager. I remember when another macho actor did the same thing in a Colorado residential area and killed a 7 year old boy. He did not suffer any penalty for his action either. REAL MEN DO NOT ACT LIKE THIS.
