The Los Angeles Police Department received emergency calls at 12:54 p.m. reporting a stabbing in a parking garage at the Westfield Topanga shopping center, located on the 6600 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The attack occurred during peak shopping hours at the popular retail destination, which draws thousands of visitors daily. Officers arrived to find one victim suffering from stab wounds in the parking structure.

Emergency responders descended on the scene in force. Video footage captured multiple LAPD patrol vehicles surrounding the affected area, with yellow police tape cordoning off sections of the mall’s parking facilities.
