Hospital Patient VANISHES — Contagious Health Alert

British authorities have launched an urgent manhunt for a 51-year-old man who disappeared from a hospital while potentially carrying a contagious health condition, raising concerns about public safety as the search enters its second week.

Hospital Departure Caught on Camera

Dean Hesketh walked out of Royal Preston Hospital on July 28 at 11:16 in the morning, according to surveillance footage released by police. The 51-year-old left the medical facility without authorization while under treatment for an undisclosed contagious health condition. Authorities released the security camera images showing his departure in hopes someone will recognize him and report his location. The footage shows Hesketh wearing distinctive clothing that police hope will help identify him.

Police described Hesketh as standing 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slim build, black hair, and blue eyes. He was last observed wearing a khaki green and black jacket, black trainers, a Lyle and Scott jumper, and a blue face mask. Investigators noted that Hesketh uses multiple names including Tim, Dean, or Anthony Gledhill, which could complicate identification efforts. The use of several aliases suggests a complex personal history that may be relevant to the investigation.

Growing Concerns for Public Safety

Law enforcement officials stated their concern for Hesketh’s wellbeing continues to increase as days pass without contact. The combination of his medical condition and sudden disappearance has elevated this case beyond a standard missing person investigation. Authorities emphasized the contagious nature of his health condition makes locating him a matter of public health importance. Police have not disclosed specific details about the illness to protect patient privacy while still warning the public about potential risks.

What the Public Should Know

Authorities instructed anyone who spots Hesketh to immediately contact emergency services by calling 999 rather than approaching him directly. This unusual directive underscores the seriousness of his medical situation and potential transmission risks. Police asked individuals with information or security footage that could assist in locating him to call the non-emergency line at 101 and reference log number 1051 from July 28. The investigation remains active with multiple law enforcement agencies coordinating efforts to bring Hesketh back to medical care safely. His disappearance highlights the challenges hospitals face when patients with contagious conditions leave against medical advice, creating potential public health emergencies that require swift law enforcement response to protect community safety.

  1. If they won’t tell you WHAT he has, then that MF needs to be taken out without a moment of hesitation. You could be saving the WORLD from another Fauci incident. Just don’t get any of that red people juice on ya, if you know what I’m saying. Juiceborn pathogens and such could make for a depressing next physical!

  2. Maybe he got tired of being poked and prodded and no one talking to him. Or getting woken up in the early hours of the morning to have his blood pressure checked.

  3. Hospital hiding what disease he has means you would be very mad that the gov allowed this person to enter the country. By not telling you, you are free to say anything. He must have black plague!

  4. His privacy went out the window the minute he walked out that door!! Now the people he is getting sick deserve to know what it is.
