There comes a time when we must decide if letting these career criminals back on the streets is a wise move. This poor elderly lady narrowly escaped death because the legal system utterly failed her (and us). Argue all the legalities all you want, when the rubber meets the road, this career criminal attempted to muder the lady for no reason. Only the quick work of bystanders prevented that.
