VIDEO: Comedian MOCKS Americans With School Shooting Chant

An Australian comedian sparked international outrage after filming himself taunting American fans with chants about school shootings and other controversial topics during a World Cup match in Seattle. The incident has reignited debate about acceptable behavior at international sporting events and raised security concerns for future matches.

Offensive Chants Target American Tragedies

Stand-up comedian Amos Gill recorded himself delivering multiple provocative chants during Australia’s 2-0 loss to the United States in Seattle on Saturday. The most controversial moment came when Gill sang to a group of American fans, asking them to stand up if their schools were safe, referencing the nation’s ongoing struggles with school violence. He performed the chant to the tune of a Village People song while surrounded by U.S. supporters in the stadium.

Gill also directed chants at America’s obesity rates and other sensitive topics. He later posted a compilation video to social media that quickly went viral, accumulating more than 300,000 likes on one platform alone. Additional reposts across multiple social media channels generated thousands more engagements, spreading the controversial content to millions of viewers worldwide.

Sharp Backlash and Divided Response

American social media users condemned the chants as tasteless and disrespectful. Critics questioned why someone would travel across the world to mock tragedies affecting children and families. Many Americans expressed frustration that serious national issues were being used as fodder for entertainment at a sporting event. The backlash highlighted growing tensions between international visitors and host nation supporters during the tournament.

Some international fans defended Gill, calling his performance creative and humorous. Supporters argued the chants represented typical sporting banter common at soccer matches worldwide. The divided response underscored cultural differences in what constitutes acceptable behavior at international competitions. This was not Gill’s first controversial appearance, as he previously participated in chants targeting political figures after another World Cup match.

Security Concerns for Tournament Finals

The incident has reportedly created complications for tournament organizers and White House officials. Concerns about similar demonstrations have grown to the point where officials are reconsidering security protocols for upcoming matches. Questions have emerged about whether high-profile government figures should attend the July 19 final due to fears about potential hostile reactions from international fans. White House staff are working to manage the situation and minimize exposure to potentially embarrassing public incidents during the remainder of the tournament.

  1. People who pull stunts like this are looking to cause major social unrest. They need to be held accountable for what they say at international gatherings. I say this about that Australian comedian who sparked an international incident/public outrage regarding a recording he made as he was chanting or ranting away about school shootings (very unethical), and then, merely to continue inciting the people present and/or those watching it on their TVs or radio broadcasts over other controversial or sensitive items… as a means to taunt Americans.

    • Hi Kevin , I am a Patriotic AUSTRALIAN and I have NEVER heard of this ” CLOWN ” ? I also wonder if he laughed at his own jokes ? Another LEFTIE looking for some recognition ! These types of so called comedians are just looking for notability and nothing else !!

  2. The aussie should have been b*tchslapped by the closest American. Oh, that’s right, they were in Seattle. All of the Americans have left, and all that’s left are the Libressivcrats.

  3. I do not see any reason he should be allowed back into the United States. I would also be concerned for his safety while he is here on this visit. We really do not need this type of influencer here. He is not covered by free speech and has no rights when it come to crossing our borders.

  4. He should have been summarily deported. He could sing all the chants he wants on his 25 hour flight home on Quantas.
