2 Year Old Girl TAKEN by Unrelated Woman

Quick-thinking employees from an Arizona moving company helped law enforcement recover a missing 2-year-old girl by blocking the suspect’s escape route at a Phoenix gas station, leading to the safe return of Kehlani Rogers to her family.

Heroic Actions at Gas Station

Camelback Moving employees sprang into action after a QuikTrip security guard, C. Edmonds, spotted Kehlani Rogers and suspect Marina Noriega at the convenience store. The foreman overheard Edmonds on the phone reporting the sighting and knew immediate action was necessary. Eight company employees coordinated to position their trucks strategically, blocking the suspect’s vehicle and preventing any escape from the parking lot while authorities were contacted.

The toddler had been missing since she was allegedly taken by Noriega, described as a recently met acquaintance of the family. Phoenix Police responded to the citizen tip at the gas station near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road, where they safely retrieved Kehlani and took Noriega into custody without incident. The 23-year-old suspect was booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office on charges of custodial interference, a class 3 felony.

Community Heroes Recognized

Camelback Moving president Chad Olsen praised the courageous actions of his employees: Robert Hernandez, Ralph Vollmert, Christopher Dixon, Kevin Place, Kevin Kimes, Gerardo Galacia, Kobe Brown, and Michael Macallum. Their quick thinking and teamwork demonstrated genuine community spirit and commitment to public safety. QuikTrip spokesperson Aisha Jefferson also commended their security guard’s attentiveness and the professional response from the Phoenix Police Department in securing the child’s safe return.

Amber Alert System Works

This successful rescue highlights the effectiveness of the Amber Alert system when combined with vigilant community members willing to act. The case demonstrates how ordinary citizens can make extraordinary differences in child safety situations. The moving company’s dashcam footage captured the coordinated effort, providing documentation of how private citizens stepped up to assist law enforcement in protecting a vulnerable child and reuniting her with her family.
