Newly released Justice Department documents expose previously unknown close relationships between convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and both Elon Musk and Steve Bannon, contradicting Musk’s earlier claims about others appearing in the files.
Musk’s Direct Connection Revealed
The documents show Musk personally reached out to Epstein in December 2013, asking to visit while staying near the British Virgin Islands and St. Barts. Epstein responded immediately, offering to send his helicopter to transport Musk. This direct correspondence reveals a level of familiarity that contradicts Musk’s previous public stance about the Epstein files.

The timing proves particularly significant given Musk’s accusations last year that Trump would appear in the files. Musk specifically posted on social media that Bannon was connected to Epstein while apparently having his own documented relationship with the convicted predator.
Extensive Bannon Communications Surface
The files contain numerous text messages between Bannon and Epstein showing a comfortable, joking relationship. Their conversations covered financial arrangements, the Mueller investigation, border wall construction, and international politics involving Qatar, the UAE, Russia, and China. The men regularly arranged meetings and discussed filming an Epstein documentary together.
Nobody has fought harder for full release of the Epstein files and prosecutions of those who abused children more than I did, knowing full well that the legacy media, far-left propagandists and those who are actually guilty would:
1. Admit nothing
2. Deny everything
3. Make…— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 1, 2026
One exchange shows Epstein asking Bannon if Trump had abandoned the border wall promise. When Bannon confirmed Trump had backed down but reserved emergency powers, Epstein claimed credit for the suggestion, adding a smiley face emoji to his response.
Questions About Previous Claims
These revelations raise serious questions about Musk’s credibility regarding the Epstein files. Last June, before any documents were public, Musk claimed Trump’s connection to Epstein was preventing full disclosure of the files. He later posted that Bannon appeared in the documents, while never mentioning his own communications with the sex trafficker.
The Justice Department released this batch of documents on Friday as part of ongoing transparency efforts. Neither Musk nor Bannon has commented on their inclusion in the latest release. The documents continue to reveal the extensive network of powerful individuals who maintained relationships with Epstein.

IF there are no hard evidence pictures or witnesses that prove Musk or Trump had a sexual relationship with under 18 yr old female; or non-consenting 18+ female; then ” there’s no…there, there”
