Wrestling Star Brody King’s Powerful Stand for Immigrant Rights at AEW Event

At the “Grand Slam Mexico” event, AEW wrestler Brody King publicly undermined American border security while representing a US company abroad by wearing a “Abolish ICE” shirt during his entrance, sparking outrage. As violent protests break out in sanctuary cities and President Trump promises to enforce immigration laws more strictly, he makes a divisive political statement.

Wrestling Star’s Anti-American Display on Foreign Soil

All Elite Wrestling star Brody King deliberately inserted radical politics into what should have been a unifying sports entertainment event in Mexico City. The California native chose to wear the provocative “Abolish ICE” shirt during his entrance at AEW’s Grand Slam Mexico, effectively calling for the dismantling a federal law enforcement agency tasked with protecting America’s sovereignty.

King’s actions coincide with violent anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles, where law enforcement officers have been injured, vehicles set ablaze, and businesses looted by demonstrators. His statement appears to show solidarity with these destructive protests rather than with the officers working to enforce America’s immigration laws and protect communities from criminal illegal aliens.

Promoting Leftist Propaganda During Sports Entertainment

The professional wrestler, who is also a member of the hardcore band God’s Hate, has previously shared radical anti-enforcement views on his social media accounts. By bringing this divisive political message to an international wrestling event, King followed the unfortunate trend of entertainers and athletes using their platforms to push leftist ideologies rather than focusing on their talents.

King’s actions seem even more inappropriate considering they occurred during an event meant to celebrate wrestling and cultural exchange between American and Mexican performers. Instead of respecting the sport and fans who paid to see wrestling, not political activism, King chose to inject his personal views on immigration enforcement into what should have been an apolitical entertainment event.

Undermining Border Security While Trump Promises Action

King shared a post from makeup artist Jose Corella that dangerously downplayed the seriousness of illegal immigration, comparing it to “running a stop sign on a bicycle” and falsely characterizing ICE enforcement actions as “extrajudicial abduction.” This rhetoric directly contradicts President Trump’s recent statements supporting ICE and promising expanded enforcement operations in cities across America.

“Let me be clear: being undocumented in the United States is not a criminal offense. It is a civil violation. That means it holds the same legal weight as running a stop sign on a bicycle, setting off a firework after a drink, or selling unlicensed fan merch on Etsy.”

While King has not publicly commented on his choice of attire, his actions speak volumes about his disregard for law enforcement and border security. His team ultimately won the 14-person tag-team match at Arena México. Still, his victory was overshadowed by the controversy he created by using a wrestling platform to promote an extreme anti-enforcement agenda that undermines America’s immigration laws.
